Hi hi! So all of my stressing that I've been doing over my photo shoots this morning so wasn't needed! Turns out styling is a blast. The strangest thing about it, though, is how hard you work to find models and clothes and makeup artists and hair stylists (Thankfully, we were given a photographer.) And on the day of the actual shoot, your job is so small all of a sudden. I found it so amazing to sit back and watch my vision come to life through the artists and the models. When I get a finished product I'll post some photos, for now I have behind the scenes pictures I've taken during the day. Hope you enjoy them! Until next time, cheers.

Poof!
I graduated last week! I started this blog when I got here and I'm already leaving. This year has gone by quicker than I can even imagine. I don't know where it all went, but it's gone. I'm in the process of writing final exams and August 3rd is my last day of classes with Blanche Macdonald. Keep in touch for some photos from two photo shoots I'm styling for a final exam. That's tomorrow morning and here I am not sleeping. I feel like no matter how much I prepare myself I will never be fully prepared for it. So I suppose it's about time I stop staring at my clothes and start sleeping. I will leave you with some pictures from grad though. And here is where I would normally say "I'm sorry for not writing, I will more often!" But we all know what would happen if I started promising things. So how about we see what tomorrow brings me. Good? Until then, cheers!

Whats in my bag(s)?
Once upon a time I decided I wanted short hair.
Just kidding.
But not really, I just pinned all of my hair up and really liked the outcome. So I took a cute little mirror picture of it. My blouse came from the salvation army. One of the arms ripped so I took them off and made this! My earrings are from Costa Blanca. And my jeans are from H&M.
Now to the actual point of this post.
I really love to snoop in peoples bags to see what they carry around with them, and I would like to think that I'm not the only one. Now, I have two bags that I use on a regular basis. The blue bag from my recent value village trip, and a beaded clutch I got from Forever 21 a while back.
Read on to snoop through the contents of my shit carriers.
Notice: Five (Count it) Five! Different lip colours. I prefer to have minimal eye makeup, but I don't want to look like I just quit life that morning.
Marc by Marc Jacobs sunnies were a gift from my boyfriend. The coach wallet thingy holds my transit pass, debit, staples card, id and some change. The usb has some of my projects on it. I print things at staples. For those who put two and two together: 10 high fives for you. I have a blue and a black pen. Some people are quite particular about the colour of pen you use. I have deodorant because nine times out of ten I totally forget to put it on in the morning. Vanilla mint flavoured gum. I mostly get the vanilla mint kind because I'm homesick a lot and it reminds me of my dad. The cracked iPod was once a brand new gift to me from my parents, but comes in handy during my 45 minute commute to school. And the blackberry for obvious reasons I hope. Am I on team blackberry? The answer to that question is no. Will I keep using blackberry? Sadly, yes. iPhone just doesn't receive email like blackberry does. My house keys are on a PNE key chain. That's my brothers and I flexing while the two ladies in front of us pee their pants. Last but certainly not least, Burts Bee's lip balm. It's the only one I use other than that soft lips stuff up there.
Below we have the two bags that typically hold all of this stuff. Sometimes I remind myself of Mary Poppins.
Have a lovely tuesday, all!

I listen to Ke$ha on a daily basis.
My month of May has been an absolutely incredible one if I do say so myself. The first weekend I went to Kelowna for a bachelorette weekend. Yes, we did rock the shit out of some neon clothes. And wigs. What's it to you? Now, if I must say, I'm positive that this is by far my favourite outfit that I've ever put on my body. After the conclusion of the bachelorette weekend, my boyfriend came to Vancouver to visit me for a weekend! I'm aware that the yellow shirt is all the same. I love the yellow shirt. (It's from the salvation army, if you're wondering.)
In other news, I've officially started my fourth semester at Blanche. Can I get a "That Shit Cray!"
Currently, I'm working on my advertising final project. And it's slowly killing me. Things have kind of slowed down, and I may or may not be able to supply this little blog with more posts.
ALSO
My outfit posts will be more frequent because of the nice weather. It's as simple as the fact that I dress nicer when the weather is awesome.
Toodaloo.

A Value Village Story
After working this whole week, I was surprised with a manicure, pedicure, and a facial! Imagine that. I've been in painting clothes this entire week, and I will not post a photo of that. (I will tell you it includes my vast collection of yoga pants and sports t-shirts.)
After our little spa date, we had some dinner and went to Value Village to spend quite some time browsing. Now, if theres anything that not many people know about me, it's that I can spend my whole days looking through the racks at thrift stores. It's like raiding a whole bunch of peoples closets all at once! I'll start you off with my absolute favourite item I found tonight in the Ethnic section.
Yes. A snake print dashiki. The clothing gods were upon me when I stumbled upon this gem. I can't wait for it to be warm enough for me to wear it!
Now, these shoes were given to me by my home stay. They're brand new and she was just going to get rid of them! I can't wait to wear these baby's too. It's just such a wonderful week.
Also, I'm noticing a reptile print trend here in my closet. Actually, now that I think of it, it's a little bit out of control. My school bag has a reptile print, too.
Feel free to send an intervention team.
All my love. xx

(Painters) Thumb
I don't have an outfit for you folks today, as I've been painting my home stays sewing room. And if you really want to know what I wore, it's old black yoga pants with paint stains and a surf camp t shirt. What what! Painters clothes swag!
Anyway, I can't promise an outfit tomorrow either. But I did get rid of all the owls in my room, so I'll show you the pictures I have in my room instead. Excited? You'll have to wait.
Off to bed I go.

97.
Now now, I won't usually post on weekends but this happens to be a day that making a Zara wish list felt appropriate. I will justify it by saying my birthday is in three months. SO. With that said, this post is mostly for my family and boyfriend. And just know that this was hard to narrow down to these pieces. So you can't really go wrong with anything from Zara.

What up, summer weather!
forever 21 top, billabong shorts, nixon watch, gifted necklace
After a nice chat with my brother, I'm convinced that I should keep this blog up rather than a tumblr blog, and that I should do outfit posts more often. Fair?
As of right now, I'm in the middle of semester number three. (SO CRAZY) I feel like I just got here. Upon graduation, I've decided to move back to small town Alberta and start a business with my best friend, Patricia. I will keep you up to date on details, promise. At the moment, however, Patricia is on a two month trip in Europe, and I'm stuck here at school!
Today, Vancouver has been very kind to supply me with a sunny cloudless day to sit on the front patio and read a book. And try and tan my ghostly legs.
Stay tuned, I'm not gonna bail this time.
xo
